Hi,

For Cricket not being an Olympic sport, there are more than one reasons which differ cricket from all other games being played Olympics.

The reasons may be like,

1.Time-consuming.

2.Requires a lot and good infrastructure.

3.It's not a global sport(not played in many countries as a national game).

These few reasons must give you a fair idea for India not being  an olympic sport.

But one day as afew reports claims,Cricket will be in olympics with more changes in rules like reduced overs..
